Let’s talk about sex.
Don’t worry, dear husband of mine, no specific details will be given.
First, waiting to have sex with my husband was worth every moment of frustration. I highly recommend it. Second, I learned that women are even more shallow than men when it comes to abstaining. To the point of almost disgusting me. I cannot believe that a female would actually say, “What if he’s bad in bed?” or “What if his penis is too small?” As if that would be a reason for me not to love him. Love is not that shallow. And personally, I would be heartbroken to be judged in that way. Third, for the first time in my life I have a fantastic sex life. Before The Husband, I did not think that was possible. I cannot explain how much I love exploring sex and my sexuality in a safe, loving, welcoming environment.

The honeymoon was everything we wanted, and was much better than the planning process. I recommend skipping the big wedding and going straight to a relaxing honeymoon. We stayed at Hidden Falls in Nantahala for the entire week. It was a cozy cabin up a crazy hill. We started sliding down about halfway up. Frank had to drive the rental car like it was stolen to get up there. Anyway, we humped like bunnies (sorry mom!) and had an all out fantastic time.

We opted out of the standard Valentine meal out and flowers. We had pepper crusted tuna with veggies and a healthy salad. It was so good. I could eat tuna every night. After dinner we worked more on our art (it’s turned into something completely different than the original plan). We’re almost done. I’ll post pictures as soon as it is ready!
A friend is building a bookshelf for us as a wedding present. I’m extremely excited about this, as most of my books are in a hutch and on windowsills. He’s a very talented woodcrafter. Oddly enough, his last name is Woody. Cute, isn’t it?!
We have just over 6 weeks left till the wedding. The RSVPs are rolling in. We get several each day. We’ve received a few donations to our WorldVision fund, and some other random gifts. I’ve ordered the presents for the bridesmaids. My sister is crafting the flowergirl gifts. The flowers, decorations, ribbon and catering are all finalized. I’m only nervous about the number of attendees.
That’s about all I have going on. What about you? Staying simple and calm? I hope so.
